Reflect Practice

What if there is more to what happens in our lives than we notice at the time?

Sometimes we recognize something before we understand it.

A feeling that something is right, or is not.
A question that keeps returning.
An unexpected encounter.
A quote that catches our eye.
A pattern we find ourselves in again.

We learn how to live through family, education, work, culture and the world around us. Much of this helps us find our way.

But along the way, we may also lose touch with something quieter within ourselves.

What do I truly feel?
What belongs to me and what have I simply learned to follow?
A quiet voice inside?

Reflect Practice is an invitation to look again.

At our experiences.
At recurring patterns.
At what touches us and what keeps returning.
And sometimes, at the deeper threads running through our lives.

Different perspectives may bring insight, meaning or explanation. The invitation is not simply to accept them, but to explore what we recognize in our own experience.

Reflection may bring clarity.
Or a new question.
Sometimes an old question appears in a different light.

What we understand may deepen or shift as life continues.

Reflection is not a conclusion.
It is part of an ongoing conversation with life.

Stories & Reflections

Notes from along the way.

Some reflections begin with an experience. Others with a conversation, a book, a film, an old memory or a question that refuses to disappear.

These stories are not offered as answers to follow. They are explorations of what we encounter while trying to understand ourselves, the life we are living and, sometimes, the deeper meaning behind it.

Perhaps they will invite you to recognize something along your own way.

Stories will be added along the way.
